About Aaditya Chand
Aaditya Chand’s story begins in Aurangabad, India, where he was born on September 19, 2001. The vibrant culture of his homeland was his first teacher, instilling in him the values of diversity and adaptability. When he was seven years old, his family moved to Hong Kong. This transition exposed him to an amalgam of cultures, significantly shaping his ability to adapt to new environments. While living in Hong Kong, Aaditya nurtured a burgeoning passion for football, frequently defending as a goalkeeper. His early life in Hong Kong deepened his cultural adaptability and planted the seeds of teamwork and leadership.
At nineteen, Aaditya relocated to the United States, marking the next chapter in his educational journey. However, he pursued his higher education with fervor in the United Kingdom. Aaditya attended the University of Manchester, choosing Economics and Finance as his fields of study. A rigorous engagement with analytical skills and a deep dive into financial systems distinguished his academic career at Manchester. He graduated with Upper Second-Class Honors in July 2022.
Aaditya’s thirst for knowledge did not cease with his bachelor’s degree. He advanced to University College London (UCL), where he pursued a Postgraduate Diploma in Finance. This program refined his understanding of Asset Pricing, Behavioral Finance, and Hedge Fund Strategies. His studies were about acquiring knowledge and preparing to make a substantive impact in finance.
Aaditya’s professional path is highlighted by his specialized focus on mergers and acquisitions, where he has academic and practical expertise. His first significant professional experience came in 2024 when he served as a Summer Analyst at Kennedy M&A. In this role, Aaditya worked remotely, engaging in research and advisory tasks that included creating financial models and drafting information memorandums for multi-million-dollar funding projects.
